Quiet and clean
1. Wifi didn't work and the staff cannot fix it. 2. Staff knows the odour smell a week ago and didn't fix it. It is like kerosene with a oily film in the hot water; so me and my colleague (2 rooms) didn't take shower and only use cold water to wash hair. Even though the cold water has a oily film too. It is very bad. The hotel should not rent the rooms out and should refund to us.
The hotels location is close to a good section of town for sightseeing and shopping. The offered breakfast appeared to be well presented and prepared, the coffee was very good.
The hotel is in an older section of town which is good for looking at old buildings but the area is dirty and has a lot of garbage on the street at most times of the early evening and night. The ad on the internet was very misleading if I had a refundable agreement I would not have stayed especially for three days.
Overall, good value for money. Extreamly helpful staff. Good location, away from noisy street which suit us very well. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we ever have a chance to be back in Buenos Aires.
Small breakfast area but quaint.
The staff is very nice and helpful. They are bilingual in English and Spanish at the least. The reception is open 24 hours. The breakfast was very good with much more than the usual Argentine croissant and coffee. The Vitral had meats and omelettes, orange juice and the dining room was in a very light and traditional parlor type room. The small garden patio in the rear is very cute.
We were upgraded to a "suite'. I suppose it was a suite as it had a spa tub installed right in the bedroom. The sink was also in the bedroom with the shower, toilet and bidet in the bathroom. It was very awkward and seemed poorly put together. There were no electrical outlets anywhere to charge our cell phones and laptop. The room had two twin beds and was spacious but was in the basement. The window looked right out onto the sidewalk and one had to close the curtains to have any privacy at all. The street was not noisy though. On that note, it is an older property with charm and one should expect some older amenities. It would be a big stretch to call this a true "boutique hotel".
The rooms are big and also confortable // Las habitaciones son amplias y confortables.
The main door doesnt say much, is just a small door, small enough for not to be noted, you almost dont know there is an hotel. If you arrive with bags is dificult, you have to get them up the stairs, and the personal cannot allways help you. La entrada no dice nada, es una simple puerta, pasa desapercibido, dificil si se llega con valijas hay que subirlas por escaleras y el recepcionista no puede hacer todo
Conveniance. 24 hr operation. Was able to communicate English (except for 1 receptionist, when I called the previous day). Good Breakfast.
It was a bit of walk the new Buenos Aires. But living around old BA was still very charming. I did not have a lift. So had to carry bags up.
The room was new and clean. The person at front desk was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, 5-10 min walk to the busiest part of the Corrientes avenue.
The wireless internet in the room was not always available because the wifi signal was often too weak at my room on the second floor. They offer significant discount for USD cash payment, but I was told so only at the time of checking out when I had no preparation.
All staff were very accomodating and responded helpfully to all requests for advice or information, and went out of their way to do so. The hotel has relatively few rooms, which allows staff to give guests greater personal attention.
The room comfort the towels, pilows and the employers
Good value for money, clean, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, willing to give room at 9.00am in the morning and so way before official checkin time, stored our luggage whilst we visited other areas of Argentina-free.
staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is quiet, breakfast is ok
the room is not huge, but it is ok for the price
The staff was vey friendly and solved any problem that popped up especially Xhemo German and the yoing lady from the reception. The hotel was very clean and was located in an excellent place. Breakfast was excellent and did not resembele Argentinian breakfast.
